About

I’m a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (research associate) at the Institut für Erziehungswissenschaft, Universität Stuttgart, in the department of Berufspädagogik mit Schwerpunkt Technikdidaktik (Technical & Vocational Education, Technology Didactics). My research sits at the intersection of AI and technical/vocational education - developing and evaluating trustworthy AI-supported learning systems that aim to be meaningful, transparent, and reliable, rather than just convincing.

Background

I completed my M.Sc. in Mechatronics at Universität Siegen (2021–2025) with a focus on robotics, deep learning, computer vision, control engineering, sensor technology, and embedded systems . I completed my thesis in collaboration with Fraunhofer IPA, contributing to the application and evaluation of computer vision models for Few-shot object detection.

Along with my Thesis , I was working as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft, where I supported in designing a system for analyzing hand movements in industrial assembly tasks using pose estimation and 3D mesh models to give real-time feedback on manual assembly technique.

I studied Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (B.E., Anna University, India, 2016–2020), which is where the dynamic modeling and simulation background comes from and still shapes how I think about AI systems in something physically or empirically real, rather than treating them as black boxes.
